The History of PNPCODA Covid-19 Dataset Collection:
KLH’s efforts to collate information on Philippine NGOs are captured under three broad categories of tasks namely Technical Assistance (TA) to Records Management Division of PCPD; TA to DILG OSCAR; and Data entry in PNPCODA.
The Technical Assistance to Records Management Division of PCPD involved the setting up of the computerized records management system for all NGOs which are registered with PCPD, providing training on how to use the system plus information dissemination on TA services available, preparation of proposal documents submitted by NGOs in requesting transactions with program offices in DILG, monitoring the performance of programs/projects implemented by NGOs in coordination with DOI 10 Regional Offices. The Technical Assistance to OSCAR Unit-DILG Headquarters pertained mainly to assessment exercises that KLH conducted among selected sample houses for possible accreditation as NGO Training Centers (NETCs) through its capacity-building support unit KAHI CIDSS. Lastly, training of PCOs in the implementation of the Transparency Seal was conducted by KLH in coordination with OSCAR.
